After attempting to wait this pandemic out, the School House Champions 5K team has decided to officially postpone our race for this year to next year, for all the reasons you know all too well. Ultimately, everyone’s health and safety is paramount for us, and our decision to punt to 2021 seems to be best for us all.

In the meantime, continue to be champions for us all … wash those hands and limit interactions with others outside your core personal group to help keep the spread of this thing down. Don’t panic, be considerate of and help others, and just like in a race, keep a steady pace forward to the finish line.

You might have questions. Here are some answers.

Do I need to re-register for the new date? Nope, not at all. Your registration will transfer over to the new date automatically.

My student will go to a new school next year. Can I change the school my registration supports? Absolutely. Just email us at shc5K@schoolhousechampions5K.com and we will get that changed for you.

What if I can’t attend on the race on the new date? Your registration fee will still be donated to the school you selected during registration, and you can still pick up your race packet the week before the race, which will include our cool race shirt, featuring a design by Scott County Middle Schooler Lily Rose, who won our 2020 shirt design contest.

We have more people to register for the 2021 run. When can we do that? Anytime. Just click the link in this message, or go to SchoolHouseChampions5K.com and click on the Register tab.

Have another question? Email shc5k@schoolhousechampions5k.com.

Thanks so much for your support, patience and understanding. Be safe and take care out there!
