For reasons you have heard too many times already, we are going to postpone our April 25 race. No one wanted to cancel the run, and our great partners were able to support us in a move. We are hoping for an early August date — so we can have a big back to school event — but we need to get all the permissions before we commit to a date. So stay tuned! We hope all of you will join us on the new date.

In the meantime, be champions for us all … wash those hands and limit interactions with others outside your core personal group to help keep the spread of this thing down. Don’t panic, be considerate of and help others, and just like in a race, keep a steady pace forward to the finish line.

You might have questions. Here are some answers.

Will the registration period change? Yes. We will extend our current registration period through the middle of July to allow you to register at a lower fee. Pricing will step up a few weeks before the race. Again, exact dates will depend on when we are approved by the city.

Do I need to re-register for the new date? Nope, not at all. Your registration will transfer over to the new date automatically.

My student will go to a new school next year. Can I change the school my registration supports? Absolutely. Just email us at and we will get that changed for you.

What if I can’t attend on the race on the new date? Your registration fee will still be donated to the school you selected during registration, and you can still pick up your race packet the week before the race, which will include our cool race shirt.
